Data collected
The pilot stores the following data for the text loop:
- Your phone number, first name, time zone, quiet hours, and pilot settings.
- Commitment titles, due times, state changes, and scheduled nudges.
- Inbound and outbound message records, delivery identifiers, and short-lived message bodies.
- Consent records for you and any backup you invite.
The website does not post enrollment data. The Text me button requests a pre-addressed SMS draft, but some devices may fill only the number. If you send START, the pilot stores your phone number, the inbound message identifier, the START keyword, the time, and consent version pilot-2026-10-v2. That inbound text creates the active account and queues the welcome reply.
How it is used
The data is used to confirm commitments, schedule messages, apply DONE, LATER, SKIP, STOP, and related keywords, and keep evidence of consent and delivery. The current pilot uses deterministic rules, not an AI model, to interpret those commands.
Retention
While the service is running, its once-per-minute maintenance clears message bodies once they are older than 24 hours. Consent evidence, delivery records without message bodies, audit records, and a minimal deleted-account record can remain longer for operations and consent proof.
Backups
A backup person receives an invitation first. They receive no went-quiet notice until they agree. If they agree, that notice says only that you went quiet on something. It does not include the commitment title. You can pause or remove that relationship.
Your choices
Reply STOP to end texts. Ask the founder for an export before deletion if you want one. Reply DELETE, then confirm within 10 minutes, to delete your account. Deletion removes commitments, nudges, and relationships, clears message bodies, and replaces retained phone values with a one-way keyed hash where the pilot needs to preserve consent or audit evidence.
